Ryan Adamson got a job with FCCI right out of college. He started as an intern in our IT department and has now been with FCCI more than twelve years. As a graduate of FCCI's Emerging Leaders training program, he has embraced the opportunity to take charge of his career at FCCI.

"Personally, I feel that I control my own destiny," he says. "Training and opportunities are available at FCCI, and I can take advantage of those opportunities. Insurance has a future no matter where technology goes.”

Jessica Markun didn't have a background in insurance when she came to FCCI to work as an Accountant in the Finance Department fourteen years ago, but she’d heard it was a great place to work.

At FCCI, she found a supportive environment that not only encouraged her to get an MBA degree and a CPA designation, but also provided financial support for those endeavors.

"I've been invested in over and over again throughout my career at FCCI, and I am so grateful and appreciative,” she says. “I’ve been empowered to try new things and take risks.”

Julie Smith is the State Director for Missouri. She earned the position by learning the business, getting to know our agents and leveraging her favorite part of working for FCCI, what she calls the “relationship part of the business.”

Since she's been leading underwriting in the state, Julie has worked closely with agents to quadruple FCCI’s business in Missouri. She loves her job and says, “I pinch myself every day that I get to do what I do.”
